This Privacy Policy explains how James Wesley McKee Ruiz, doing business as James Wesley Productions (JWP), based in Costa Rica ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use Real Estate Entry (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

• Account data: name, email, profile photo, language, and the authentication identifier provided by Google when you sign in.
• Profile & brand data: company name, tagline, bio, brand colors, logo, contact details, and other information you publish.
• Listing data: properties, descriptions, photos, geo-coordinates, price, status, and related content.
• Communications: messages, comments, inquiries, reports, and support requests.
• Usage & device data: IP address, browser/device type, language, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps, and similar logs.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To authenticate accounts and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To display public listings, profiles, and discovery features.
• To send transactional emails (sign-in, invites, lead alerts, notifications).
• To respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Legal Bases (where applicable)

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 on the Protection of the Person Regarding the Processing of Personal Data apply, we rely on: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., operating and securing the Service), consent (e.g., non-essential cookies, marketing), and legal obligations.

4. Public Content

Listings, profile pages, comments, and likes are public by design and indexable by search engines. Do not publish information you do not want made public.

5. How We Share Information

• With other users: profile and listing content is shown publicly; messages are shown to the intended recipient.
• Service providers (sub-processors): hosting (Cloudflare, Lovable), database & auth (Supabase), email delivery, mapping (OpenStreetMap / Nominatim), and AI providers used for optional translation.
• Legal: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell personal information.

6. International Transfers

Our service providers may process data outside of Costa Rica, including in the United States and the European Union. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required.

7. Retention

We retain account, profile, and listing data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described below.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights email info@realestateentry.com. In Costa Rica you may submit complaints to the Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (PRODHAB). In the EEA/UK, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

9. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption in transit, row-level security, scoped API keys, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
